The Materiality of Maria Pergay
Photograph by Robert Wright for The New York Times
Last night I attended an exhibit at Demisch Danant 542 West 22nd Street,
to see the work of furniture designer,
Her work explores Stainless Steel, Bronze, Wood, Iron and Boiserie.
I was able to meet her briefly,
with her French accent she said, “make yourself at home”, which in a word was. . .delightful.
To read Rima Suqi’s interview with Maria go here.
