Through The Woods

There are several stops New York designers make while shopping for clients in Tribeca.
My favorite shopping stop is Espasso.
Sao Paulo native Carlos Junqueira created a sexy,
quasi loft showroom dedicated entirely to promoting the work of Brazilian design.
Espasso, located in both New York and Los Angeles,
outshines in featuring the work of noted Brazilian designers Jorge Zalszupin, Sergio Rodrigues and Joaquim Tenreiro
as well as contemporary designers like Lia Siqueira, Isay Weinfeld and Claudia Moreira Salles.
Each of the pieces in the showroom are distinct forms, which carry an overwhelming presence.
Woods and finishes are exemplar. Rare and vintage pieces co-mingle with modern reproductions from designers like Carlos Motta.
The Brazilian marketplace is open . . . in Tribeca. Be sure to visit.
