Viva Botanica
Jonathan Singer has said he is “creating the phenomenon from within the flower.”
Jonathan, a Hasselblad Laureate Award winner,
certainly created a phenomenon when his double-elephant folio, (39½ by 29½ inches)
Botanica Magnifica
arrived at the Smithsonian Institution Libraries, now kept within the Cullman Rare Book Room.
The publication, is modeled on Audubon’s magnum opus, The Birds of America, and features single blooms of 250 of the world’s rarest plants.
