Needle and Thread
This post is a shout out to a woman, who will be checking out Dialog with Paulette Pascarella for the first time this week.
You see, a very creative seamstress, who could take fabric, buttons, zippers, needle and thread and sew a fabulous, chic outfit for me overnight, raised me.
My memories of choosing fabrics, color and textures, understanding how they would be placed on the pattern, fitting, and adjustments,
were early informers for me as an Interior Designer.
Welcome to Dialog, Mom.
Photographs by Vogue fashion photographer John Rawlings illustrate the interplay of fashion and interiors.
What do you see first in the photo? The furniture, the fashion, the color, the line. . .

Aw. Very sweet. Welcome to Mom! I think I have a great eye for what works with color AFTER the colors have been matched by someone else or in the color pallette. I struggle with color beyond the obvious tried-and-true “safe” choices.
